This was my first time here -- and we LOVED everything about this place!! My husband and I absolutely loved the food, our server Moh, and the ambiance! The portion sizes are huge and the kibbe and meat served with such flavorful rice was absolutely delicious! We ordered the lamb and beef kafta entree, chicken shawarma fattoush salad, kibbe, and dolmas! We will be back to see Moh and for the delicious food!!!

A relaxed place to kick back and enjoy delicious Lebanese food. We had a Groupon to get 35.00 worth of food for 22.00. We had the vegetarian platter entrée and mixed grill entrée.
The vegetarian platter consisted of large portions of both hummus and baba ghanoush, two falafel, two dolmas, tabouli, and a basket of pita. Both the hummus and baba ghanoush were superb. We particularly loved the creamy, smoky baba ghanoush. The tabouli was also delicious, minty and fresh. The dolmas were some of the best I've had. The dense, nice-and-green-inside falafel were also a hit.
The mixed grill was also very, very good and consisted of tender grilled chicken, beef and kafta kebob served with a humongous portion of fluffy, flavorful basmati rice.
Both entrées were very shareable.
The place is BYOB so we brought a bottle of wine and the server graciously opened it for us and brought us some wine glasses.
We liked the exotic decor with pretty pillows and rugs on the ceiling. The place has a relaxed, casual vibe.
We'd definitely return since the entire menu looks fabulous. We'd like to try the lentil soup, the roast chicken and the lamb kebab. -

My boyfriend (who is Lebanese) came here a couple of months ago and wouldn't stop raving about his meal here. So naturally I had to check out this place with our friends to verify his hype.
I definitely recommend trying some appetizers when you're here. The hummus was creamy and delicious. We devoured that and the pita right away. The falafel (6 pieces) was fried to perfection and served with tahina sauce. We split two Kibbe (ground lamb in fried breading) between the four of us and it was the perfect portion for tasting. The Kibbe was good but I wasn't a fan of the yogurt sauce (a bit lemony for me).
For the entrees we ordered the Chicken Schwarma on hummus, Chicken Kabab, Lamb and Beef Kafta, and a side of rice. Now if you have been here before you know that it is never necessary to order a side of rice because the amount of rice they include with the entrees is extreme. For the entrees served with rice, the rice was about 65% of the plate. Now I will say the rice was appetizing (buttery base) but I don't think they need to serve an amount that enormous. For the price you are paying they should definitely serve more meat and less rice if the food is meant to be shared.
I absolutely loved the Chicken Schwarma. The seasoning was perfect and the chicken was cooked just right. I can never re-create the schwarma seasoning like that. I thought the chicken kababs were fine. Kababs aren't personally my favorite but it was enjoyed by the others. The lamb and beef kefteh was good. It wasn't my boyfriend's favorite (coming from a Lebanese).
I highly recommend ordering the garlic mousse; beware you will want to have this with every meal after you try it. I would love to try it with fries next time.
The food service was very slow and our meal turned out to be a 2 hour lunch. Our waiter wasn't attentive with us and it appeared that there was only one person working the kitchen. Now on the bright side the food is probably fresh but it took longer than expected.
I definitely would give this place another shot and order a sandwich or wrap. My boyfriend said this experience wasn't as great as his previous experience. I have hope for this place because the taste was authentic but I think there is room for improvement.
I will warn you that consuming arabic food will make you very sleepy at the end. We ordered the turkish coffee here which was delightful and necessary. -

Fantastic Lebanese restaurant in our neighborhood and worthy of destination dining. We enjoyed delicious homemade lentil soup (complimentary thanks to a Yelp check-in offer) and we would have happily paid for it; it was yummy! We shared two entrees and the fattoush salad, all very large portions. The salad was a delightful combination of crunchy cucumber, juicy tomato, onion and toasted pita served in a tangy dressing, probably olive oil and lemon. Loved it and had ample enough to bring some home. The Salmon was perfectly cooked, drizzled with capers; served with a side of rice with parsley. Another winner. For those having a hard time deciding on what to order, the Mixed Grill is the perfect choice. A large platter filled with customer favorites including lamb kabob, beef kibbeh, and grilled chicken kabob with rice. A fantastic tasting. Our server Mo was charming as was Rafat, I believe the manager, both very accommodating and eager to please. They sent out a complimentary selection of baklava for the three of us and when I mentioned that we lived around the corner, they handed us a 30 percent discount to return for takeout or delivery. Seriously charming dining room and staff. Excellent food. There is no reason to done elsewhere if you want to hit all of the sweet spots. 5 star service, food and atmosphere.

The food was good. The best deal is the lunch special so if you are there for lunch, check those out first. The portions are very generous. The service leaves much to be desired. Three of us ordered a plate of hummus and pita bread to share. We were not given plates so the table got a little messy. Apparently if you want plates you need to request them up front. Getting the waiter's attention is a bit challenging, at least at the lunch hour on the day we were there. He was the only one serving though only one other table was there when we were. Free parking is available on the residential streets if you are willing to walk 2 long blocks. Otherwise it's residential permit parking because of the Brown Line stop at Kedzie.
